North East, PA – January 2007 – RIDG-U-RAK, a leading manufacturer of rack storage systems, has appointed David Olson, P.E. as National Sales Manager. In his new role, he will be responsible for RIDG-U-RAK’s national accounts program, field sales, customer service, distributor network development as well as planning and directing the company’s marketing strategies. Olson, a US Patent holder, has 23-years of experience in structural design and a technical background in the design of hot and cold-rolled steel storage systems for warehouse and retail applications.

Olson is a Licensed Professional Engineer in three states, a member of the American Institute of Steel Construction Professionals and a member of Beta Gamma Sigma. He received his BSCE from the University of Minnesota, MSCE from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Indiana University.
