Push Back Pallet Rack

High Density Cart-On-Rail Pallet Rack System

Ridg-U-Rak's Push Back Pallet Rack (Push-Bak) uses a dynamic cart-on-rail system in which deeper pallet loads automatically advance to the aisle when the front pallet load is retrieved

The ultimate in high density storage utilization and selectivity. Features jam-free cart-on-rail design.

Rid-u-Teir

Push back pallet rack systems offer similar storage density as drive-in pallet rack while improving selectivity and accessibility to a range of SKUs. Product stored in lanes rests on a system of carts-on-rails available in 2 to 6 pallets deep. From one aisle, pallets are stored by "pushing back" previously placed pallets with a new pallet on the next cart position. When the front pallet is retrieved, gravity causes the next pallet to move forward into a ready position. This "last-in, first-out" system (per lane) reduces picking time when a large number of picking faces are required.

Rid-u-Teir Ridg-U-Rak's patented design features large coated wheels with sealed bearings. The linked cart design provides smooth operation in the pallet rack system.

Push back pallet rack systems provide a very desirable combination of high density storage and pallet accessibility. Ridg-U-Rak's Push-Bak™ storage density equals that of drive-in pallet rack systems, yet every lane can be accessed at all times. Any lane can be filled from the aisle without affecting any other adjacent lanes above or below.

Ridg-U-Rak manufactures complete push back pallet rack systems for the peace of mind that comes with single source responsibility. Ridg-U-Rak quality is in the entire system.

Standard Load: up to 3,000 lbs.

Features:

  • Higher utilization of available pallet positions than most storage systems
  • Single aisle for more storage rack area
  • Patented design
  • Easy rolling carts with large coated wheels
  • Low maintenance sealed bearings
  • Linked carts
  • Cart anti-lift-out devices
  • Low cart stack height
  • Lift trucks never enter the rack

Applications & Options:

  • Universal product storage
  • Aisle access to each pick face
  • Large number of SKUs and pick faces

Push Back Rack - Virtual Showroom

Push back pallet rack systems store pallets of the same product on a system of carts-on-rails in lanes two to five positions deep. Pallets are loaded by "pushing back" previously placed pallets, setting the new pallet on the next cart position. Similarly, as a pallet is retrieved, the next pallet rolls forward to the aisle. Push-Back high density storage offers increased selectivity, as every lane can be accessed from the aisle without affecting the lanes above or below.
